Gina Davies Workshop 'Behavour - Let's Tackle Some!'
Event Information
Description
Gina is visiting the island to deliver a training programme for early years professionals, but has also agreed to run her workshop about behaviour for parents/carers. Other family members as well as professionals who are unable to attend during the day are also very welcome to come along.
Gina is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist who turned her passion for communication development into practical and joyful intervention strategies for parents and professionals dealing with autism. She has worked with hundreds of autistic children in schools, nurseries and residential settings, and directly with parents, carers and families.
This workshop explores strategies for tackling everyday problems around behaviour that make family life both difficult and stressful. Here we look at how we get messages across to your child, staying sane, keeping sensible boundaries in place and having some fun.
More information and a short video trailer can be viewed on Gina's website here
