Ginesis: Distill my beating heart
Event Information
Description
Ever wondered how gin is made? Why it was originally created? Where it comes from? With two master distillers, Charlie Hooson-Sykes, locally known as the Gin Fuelled Bluestocking, will take you on a tour through history, looking at it's background, it's origins and it's development into the spirit we know today, along with tasters. This is the first event in a series for Manchester Museum's Lates season looking into the history and science behind one of the UK's favourite tipples.
Your ticket includes access, samples of 5 gins, tonics, and a little something to eat, though it is recommended that you have a little something to eat beforehand!
