Stand-up comedian, author and broadcaster Timandra Harkness, whose latest book is Big Data: Does Size Matter?, will be joining us for an entertaining overview of big data, from the very first time a caveperson carved a tally of how many beasts they'd killed, right through to the modern gigantic science experiments churning out hundreds of terabytes of data every day.
We'll also have a delicious dinner, and the usual chance to meet and network with other Girl Geeks. Tickets cost only £6, and include your meal. Drinks will also be available.
