Girl Geek Dinner: What Has Science Done For Me?
Monday 27th October, 6pm-9pm; Tickets £5 (including dinner)
7th Floor, The Landing, Blue, MediaCityUK, M50 2ST
Manchester Girl Geeks and ScienceGrrl present an evening with some of the finest minds in science, technology, IT and engineering.
Hear about the work they've been doing, what they're doing next and what it's like being a female working in science. There will be hands-on activities for you to try and you also get a tasty meal in Manchester's thriving media/creative hub, MediaCity. There'll also be a chance to find out about UTC MediaCity, a new college opening soon at MediaCity, and they're supporting our event along with Manchester Science Festival and our lovely venue hosts The Landing.
Suitable for students at high school or above (under 16s with an adult) or as a school group. People who work or have an interest in science or technology are also very welcome!
COMPETITION! We're running a competition to win 2 free tickets to this event. Click here for details.
