Welcome to Girl Next Door & Friends! Join us at Next Door Records Two for a night of new alt-pop music headlined by Girl Next Door.

Off the back of her glittering EP 'Darling I Saw The Way You Looked At Me Tonight', championed by the likes of BBC 6 Music, Dork, Radio X, Notion, DMY and BBC Introducing, emerging artist Girl Next Door will be performing her first headline show at Next Door Records Two in Stoke Newington this November.

Girl Next Door names Kate Nash, Caroline Polachek and The Streets as some of her biggest musical inspirations, drawing from her combined influences to create a strikingly unique sound which spans experimental elements and accessible melodies.

Originally from Bishop’s Stortford, Girl Next Door’s journey to music began via work in music production, theatre and spoken-word, including an award-winning solo music and poetry Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Hatch’. Following the show and an artist residency at the Roundhouse in Camden, Girl Next Door began making music in her bedroom and releasing to much acclaim. Having packed-out shows across London including Paper Dress Vintage and supporting Absolutely Anytime at Brixton's Windmill, Girl Next Door has also featured on singles by 49th & Main and Omnom, and appeared on Australian house duo Ekko & Sidetrack’s debut album.
