- Gender roles shaping experience and the relationship between gender and violence
- Key gender specific aspects of mental health and wellbeing
- Applying effective risk assessment and the National Referral Mechanism (NRM)
- Effective interventions at individual and group level
- Maximising opportunities afforded by the Reachable/Teachable moment
- The importance of the ‘Voice of the Child/Young Person’ to shaping service provision and tailored support
- Trauma-Informed approaches
- Engagement and empowerment of girls/young women and how best to respond/support
- Roles and responsibilities of individual agencies
- Useful reference materials, processes, procedures and best practice.
Training will be relevant to multi-agency professionals.
