Saturday Pay and Play Football for Girls
AFC Leyton is a unique female only football club, that trains in Walthamstow (behind Sainsburys Low Hall).
We have 15 competitive league teams that play across 5 different leagues in London and Essex.
On Saturdays we have an open training session that female wanting to play football can join in!
- 9am to 10am are minis (ages 3 to 6 years) and this session is FREE
- 10am to 1130am is juniors (ages 7 to 11 years) and this session is £4
- 10 am to 1130am is seniors (ages 11 to 16) and this session is also £4
Players are split by age and also ability. This means new players as well as seasoned players are welcome to attend. The session consists of fitness, football technical skills and of course mini matches.
Players are expected to dress for the weather, so thermals or tracksuits in the winter and shorts and tees in the summer. It is recommended that players aged 7+ wear shin pads to these sessions.
We play on the field so it can get muddy. Water should be brought in a named bottle.
