National Women in Engineering Day

National Women in Engineering Day has been set up by the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to celebrate its 95th anniversary. WES wants to focus attention on the great opportunities for women in engineering, at a time when it has never been more important to address the engineering skills shortage. By encouraging girls into engineering careers we will not only be increasing diversity and inclusion – a business imperative – but enabling us to fill the substantial future job opportunities that have been predicted in this sector.

University of Brighton - School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics

The School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics is at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in Computing, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Mathematical Sciences and Product Design. The School develops courses in close consultation with industry and professional bodies to ensure that their graduates have the range of skills employers are looking for.

Curiosity Hub

Curiosity Hub provides creative and engaging Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) enrichment classes and workshops across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. Kids and teens can explore science and engineering design challenges and get 'hands-on' with cutting edge technology.
