Want to know more about conservation, or learn some new skills - why not try our practical conservation volunteering Taster Session?
We'll be trying a range of activities including: fruit tree pruning and grafting / green woodwork skills / surveying. We can pay travel expenses and provide food for the day, and attending the session is completely free.
This is a #GiveLoveLeeds taster session for people to find out about volunteering and to promote positive wellbeing, with thanks to support from Leeds Community Foundation, The Leeds Fund and HARIBO.
The specific age target for this event is 16-25 year olds – although all ages are welcome (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
Volunteers of old and first time visitors to the centre are welcomed to escape the city and enjoy a day in the woods at Skelton Grange Environment Centre . Arrival from 9:45am for a cuppa!
