Event description
Giving Tree launch event with Adam and Charlotte Guillain.

About this Event

Blackwell's are proud to once again be putting up a Giving Tree at our Broad Street and Westgate shops this Christmas.

Our Giving Trees will have tags requesting books that you can buy for our partnered charity this year, Oxfordshire Hospital School.

The gifts you choose will go to children with ongoing medical conditions who cannot attend regular schools.

The Broad Street Giving Tree will launch on 16th November at 12pm, with a fantastic event by Adam & Charlotte Guillain, who will be doing an interactive reading from their brand new Children's book 'Countdown to Christmas'.

Christmas is coming and the countdown has begun!

Bear has made a Christmas game for his friends, with a present to find each day.

There's a toy cow on wheels for Hedgehog and a candy cane for Raccoon but some of the other presents seem a bit strange. Beaver gets some straw and Toad gets some donkey ears! And what is Badger supposed to do with a tea towel?

Why is Bear giving them all these presents? What is his big surprise?

Join in the festive fun as the characters open their presents one by one to reveal a fun festive final

Adam and Charlotte Guillain are the creators of many best-selling children’s books, including 'School for Dads', the 'George’s Amazing Adventures' series and the 'Molly's Magic Wardrobe' series.

The Westgate Giving Tree will launch on 21st November as a part of their magical late-night Christmas celebrations.

This event is free to attend and everyone is welcome, please register in advance. For all enquiries, email childrens@blackwell.co.uk or call our Children's Department on 01865 333694.
