Rising London alt-pop artist GIYA returns to the stage for her 2nd headline tour, celebrating the release of her third studio project, bringing to life the EP in a live journey of storytelling, poetry and alt-pop anthems.
With major BBC Radio 6 backing from Craig Charles, New Music Fix and Amy Lame on her latest project, GIYA is defining herself as one London’s most exciting new exports. Her ability to draw lightness from dark topics in her vulnerable storytelling has drawn her plenty of plaudits, playing Glastonbury twice, and selling out 2 of her London headline shows.
Dipping toes into folk, pop, hip hop, jazz and soul, she blends genres into her own unique sound, with her storytelling and lyrics are the core that links her styles; a sound that is unmistakable her own.
Also playing bass for Hak Baker and producing much of her own music, she is an artist of many faces and continues to evolve into something truly unique in the city.
