GLADD returns to Birmingham Pride this year! Grab your glitter, signs, banners and sparkly scrubs and let's make this a Pride to remember!

About this event

Pride in Birmingham returns on the 24th of September 2022 and GLADD is marching again with a small group of 25 members. We can't wait for you to join us in the UK's Second City!

Get your tickets!

We've only got 25 spots for Birmingham Pride so we ask that, if you want to join us, you register with us via this Eventbrite page. If, for whatever reason, you become unable to join us after all, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can give someone else your place.

As we only have a limited number of spaces, priority will be given to LGBTQ+ Doctors, Dentists, Medical students and Dentistry students. You do not necessarily have to be a member of GLADD to join us - as long as you are a LGBTQ+ Doctor or Dentist (or student), then you're welcome to march with us!

We'd love to be able to bring along your lovely partners and friends, so please do send us a message if you'd like to do so and we will put them on a waiting list for spare tickets.

On the day

As usual, the suggested dress code for GLADD will be scrubs and any other medical items. Feel free to glitz it up as much as you like; this is your Pride to celebrate in style!

We will set up a WhatsApp group in the weeks before the parade for updates. By registering for this event, you consent to being added to this group. Please make sure to provide your mobile number when registering!

The parade begins in Centenary Square at 12pm and takes us round the city centre before ending in the fabulous Gay Village. We hope to then head into a bar for a post-march social. We are awaiting further information from Birmingham Pride regarding our exact times and locations and will update you in due course.

Please be aware that there may be long periods of standing and walking on the day. Please bring water, sunscreen and a hat as it may be very hot!
