About this event

Museums and universities have been criticised for being institutions of colonial appropriation and sequestration. But they are also seen as sites that are well positioned to undo this process by decolonising and rehabilitating more pluriversal knowledges. Dr Laura Van Broekhoven, Director of the Pitt Rivers Museum, will be discussing the work the Pitt Rivers is doing to address these issues.

The talk will be held in the Headley Lecture Theatre at the Ashmolean. Tea and coffee will be available. Please feel free to bring your own lunch.
