About this event

As part of the Glasgow 850 celebrations Glasgow Life and Glasgow 850 have joined forces to bring you a 'Glasgow Through the Ages' Walking Tour.

Join us on Wed 10th, Fri 12th or Wed 17th September for a tour delivered by Glasgow 850 volunteer leaders to discover the humble beginnings of Glasgow and how it developed into the great city it is today. Our enthusiastic volunteers are not subject matter experts but have some key information and stories they are keen to share.

This tour will take around 1.5 hours and will walk around the Cathedral Precinct and down High Street, providing an introduction of the past with stories brought to life by our volunteer leaders.

You will meet our Glasgow 850 volunteers outside Glasgow Cathedral and join them on a walk around the Cathedral Precinct and down High Street towards the Trongate area. The walk will be outdoors, walking downhill. You will cross roads and must remain with the group at all times.11:00 - 12:30

Please note: anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult and no dogs are allowed on the tour.
