Join us for Glasgow Caledonian University’s Research and Postgraduate Open Event 2017

  • Date: Thursday 15th June 2017
  • Time: 2pm-7pm
  • Location: Hamish Wood Building

This showcase event will comprise of a central exhibition area and a range of guest speakers, including Sir Michael Marmot reflecting GCU’s unique research strengths as well as information stalls regarding postgraduate and part-time study options

As the University for the Common Good, GCU’s research addresses three major societal challenges, enabling communities in the UK and internationally to build Inclusive Societies and live Healthy Lives in Sustainable Environments.

There will be an opportunity to visit a wide range of postgraduate information stalls for those who may be interested in progressing onto postgraduate study or furthering their current career by studying part time. The day will finish with the Three Minute Thesis (competition for PhD students).

This event will give you the opportunity to:

  • Talk to our Academic, Research and Admissions staff
  • Find out about opportunities to benefit from GCU’s research expertise
  • Find out about opportunities to benefit from GCU’s research expertise
  • Speak to our support services, including careers service and student support
  • Attend talks, as well as tour our campus
