The Graduate School in partnership with Glasgow Science Festival and GCU's Community and Public Engagement would like to invite you to participate in the Glasgow Science Festival Development Day as below:
Glasgow Science Festival Development Day
Congratulations on being accepted to the Glasgow Science Festival programme for 2017 and thank you for representing GCU at this festival and hopefully inspiring more researchers to get involved next year.
You and the team of staff and students who will help you deliver your GSF activity this year are invited to attend a development day with the GSF team and other GCU contributors.
Duration: 5 hours
Date: Wednesday 26 April, 10:00–15:00
The day will be made up of a morning session (10am – 12noon) of generic public engagement skills training and specific information relating to the GSF. There will then be a break for lunch and we will resume again in the afternoon (1pm – 3pm) where teams will have the opportunity to work on the content and planning of their own activities with the support of GSF staff and GCU’s Community and Public Engagement Coordinator.
During this session, we will identify any additional requirements for your activity and if there are further training needs not covered on the day, the GSF Director will follow up with you and your team individually.
Please register for this training by the end of March and if you have any questions, please contact email@example.com.
