Description

Background

Grace (LadyDisGrace) is a lifestyle kinkster and queer pioneer. She began her own journey in conscious sexuality through tantra and trauma healing before finding the fascinating world of BDSM. Using her background in health and psychotherapy.

Grace is passionate about bringing power and confidence to others to step into their full being - whether that's through stating their boundaries clearly, learning more about consent, being further educated on anatomy (and pleasure zones) of the genitals or through power dynamics and impact.

Medical play and needle play are from a series of workshops Grace runs called "Playing on the Edge" which focuses on bringing education, safety, communication and fun to more taboo types of kinky play.

Medical play:

Grace and Glasgow Does invite you to come learn, experience and share a fun morning exploring Medical Play. This is a really adaptable area of Kink that allows us to play with as much sensation and power as we like. It can be as light as a bit of slap and tickle or as serious and detached as you so wish. This workshop will focus on three elements of medical play:
*The use of medical instruments as kink toys/pervertables
*The use of role play to experience a variety of D/s dynamics
*The use of medical language to create a caring or unemotive atmosphere

This will be achieved via education regarding:

*How to negotiate a medical play scene safely - separating the sensations, tools and dynamics involved
*What basic tools are available on any budget
*How to safely and sanely embody power dynamics
*Language and phrases that can add authenticity to your scene

Following teaching and discussion - time will be available for people to play (a lot of equipment will be provided), look at equipment or have a cup of tea and chat further. Be it to watch, learn or to try, all levels of experience are welcome to this session.

Sharps

Medical sharps (needles and medical staples) can be as fast as you need it to be, or as slow and precise for either giver or receiver. It can be all about the sensation, or about creating beautiful, intricate art work.

Grace and Glasgow Does would like to invite you to come learn, experience and share your own knowledge in this area in a casual and fun environment that still focus on best practice and safety. This workshop is an education based workshop which will teach you how to:
*Negotiate a sharps play scene
*Practice needles safely
*Create patterns or artistic creations
*Provide a range of different sensations using these two simple
tools

Following teaching and discussion - time will be available for people to play, look at equipment or have a cup of tea and chat further. Be it to watch, learn or to try, or have some dedicated time with a play partner all levels of experience are welcome!

Important Information

Each ticket will entitle you to a starter kit of needles, this will let you practice some of the skills that you have picked up during the workshop.

If you have you own sharps then please feel free to bring them along.

There are not going to be massage tables so we ask people bring blankets or towels, this is just to make the seating a bit more comfortable and make people feel at ease. If you wish to you are more than welcome to make yourself a nest of blankets if that is how you wish to enjoy your needle play.

Please note the difference in the cost of the ticket reflects the cost of the sharps equipment that will be included in the starter pack.
