Join us for a night of music memories, and lively conversation as Fiona Shepherd, Alison Stroak, and Jonathan Trew, co-authors of Glasgow’s Greatest Hits: Tales from the City of Music - take to the stage with legendary broadcaster Billy Sloan at the Gryffe Valley Book Festival.
The book has grown out of the Glasgow City Music Tours which Shepherd, Stroak, and Trew have been running for ten years, and together the panel will delve into the stories behind Glasgow’s vibrant music scene - from its iconic venues and unforgettable gigs to the artists and moments that shaped the city’s reputation as a global music capital. Whether you're a lifelong music fan or simply curious about the cultural soul of Glasgow, this event promises insight, nostalgia, and a few behind-the-scenes tales you won't hear anywhere else.
The event will include an audience Q&A and a book signing, offering you the chance to meet the authors and pick up a signed copy of this celebration of Scotland’s musical heart..
