About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

If you've always fancied having a go at glass fusing, or want to try something completely different, join us at one of our fusing pop up classes. Our classes are small to allow for 1:1 time with artist Chan Foy, in order to develop your ideas, and are suitable for beginners and improvers. During class you can make one piece of glass for your home or as a gift for that special somebody (if time allows you can also make a smaller item). You can also gift one of our workshops for a special occasion.

Please read the FAQ's below about how to find us, parking, access and the use of tools - thanks.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the studio?

We are behind our house, walk down Vine Grove towards the turning circle heading for the orange tear drop flag. There is a passage way between us and the (tidy) neighbours, walk down this and turn right into the garden and you will see the studio.

Parking

There is no parking on Vine Grove, we suggest using Akesmoor Drive, it is a few minutes away and is off the main road. If you have a blue badge/mobility needs, email us in advance and we will save a parking spot for up to 2 cars (first come first served basis) near the studio.

Access

Access to the studio is via two steps down into the garden, two steps up into the studio, stepping over the UPVC door frame.

Using tools

This is an authentic making class, whereby we will teach you have to use various tools. If you have challenges using your hands/wrists please contact us before booking and we can discuss this further with you.

Collecting your work

Once fired we will email you a collection message - this very often lands in junk folders so please check in there if you do not hear from us! Thanks
