Glass-House Chats are one-hour themed sessions for an informal chat about engaging communities in design and placemaking.
About this event
Making is an essential part of each of our lives, from cooking dinner to the joys of building flat-packed furniture. But how can the simple act of making be used in design engagement to kick-start or enable conversations that improve our places and neighbourhoods? How can we use making and crafts as a tool to engage people, and as a pathway to understanding different perspectives, experiences and to unlock our collective creativity around place?
At this Chat, we will be exploring how making can be creatively integrated into engagement processes to not only explore design, but also to help build skills and relationships through placemaking processes.
