Event description

Description

Due to popular demand, we have added some additional dates to our Glencoe Workshops schedule, November 2016 and January 2017. We have also extended the workshop to three days by request. Spaces on the workshops are limited to 14 so book early to avoid disappointment.

This workshop will be taking place from Monday evening 23rd January to Thursday 26th January. We advise booking your accomodation for 4 nights from Monday 23rd January,  checking out on Friday 27th January.

We invite you to gather in the Hotel Bar at 20.30 hours on the 23rd of January 2017 for a meet and greet with Paul Sanders and Matt Hart.

The hotel will be available now for bookings and you are advised to book early to secure a room.  Room rates at the time of checking were £84 per person per night and there are rooms or lodges available.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the interest you have shown in these workshops.

Glencoe in Scotland is possibly one of the most iconic locations in the British Isles with its wild mountain scenery, water falls and moorland. Visiting it in the middle of winter gives the wonderful location a wholly different feel, often blanketed in deep snow it becomes a Landscape Photographers dream. The winter sun hangs low in the sky all day creating the most incredible light which coupled with changeable weather delivers the most dramatic feel to Landscape Photography.

We will visit Buchaille Etive Mor (pictured), Black Rock Cottage, Castle Stalker and explore Glen Etive and Loch Bar and quite a few more locations.

This workshop is open to photographers of all abilities and you may bring any make of camera. The workshop will be led by Fuji X Photographers Paul Sanders and Matt Hart, who will give you as much tuition and guidance as you need to make the most of the locations we will visit over the weekend.  We will be located just outside Glen Coe Village in The Clachaig Inn Glencoe, Highlands,Scotland, PH49 4HX www.clachaigholidays.com Tel: 01855 811252  it’s remote location makes it ideal for this workshop with many of the locations being only a stones throw from the hotel.

The cost of the workshop is £289.99 per person and includes all the tuition and support you need with access to Neutral Density Filters and Graduated filters for you to make the most of the photographic opportunities.

You will need to book your accommodation with Clachaig Inn and make your own way to Glencoe, the fee does not include meals, beverages, accommodation or travel.

There is some walking during the day so a reasonable level of fitness is required.  The event may take place in inclement weather so come prepared.
