Glencoe in Scotland is possibly one of the most iconic locations in the British Isles with its wild mountain scenery, water falls and moorland. Visiting it in the middle of winter gives the wonderful location a wholly different feel, often blanketed in deep snow it becomes a Landscape Photographers dream. The winter sun hangs low in the sky all day creating the most incredible light which coupled with changeable weather delivers the most dramatic feel to Landscape Photography.
We will visit Buchaille Etive Mor (pictured), Black Rock Cottage, Castle Stalker and explore Glen Etive and Loch Bar and quite a few more locations.
This workshop is open to photographers of all abilities and you may bring any make of camera. The workshop will be led by Fuji X Photographers Paul Sanders and Matt Hart, who will give you as much tuition and guidance as you need to make the most of the locations we will visit over the weekend. We will be located just outside Glen Coe Village in The Clachaig Inn Glencoe, Highlands,Scotland, PH49 4HX www.clachaigholidays.com Tel: 01855 811252 it’s remote location makes it ideal for this workshop with many of the locations being only a stones throw from the hotel.
The cost of the workshop is £289.99 per person and includes all the tuition and support you need with access to Neutral Density Filters and Graduated filters for you to make the most of the photographic opportunities.
You will need to book your accommodation with Clachaig Inn and make your own way to Glencoe, the fee does not include meals, beverages, accommodation or travel.
There is some walking during the day so a reasonable level of fitness is required. The event may take place in inclement weather so come prepared.
