Improving mechanisms that allow patients throughout the world to access therapies and treatments to realise their best possible health is vital.

Global Access to Medicines aims to bring these expertise together to:

- drive efficient generation of knowledge about causes of disease,

- promote knowledge exchange across the medicines discovery community

- accelerate the discovery of novel therapeutic agents.

By realising opportunities for Oxford to work collaboratively on a global scale, and by investing in different stages of the development pathway, the potential to improve access to medicines is greatly enhanced.
