Global Change Award Alumni Exhibition: Ten Years of Change

[17 September - 14 October, 2025]

To celebrate 10 years of backing early-stage innovation and bold changemakers, Global Change Award and The Mills Fabrica have teamed up to present a one-month exhibition: Ten Years of Change.

Since 2015, the Global Change Award (GCA) has supported visionary Changemakers — pioneering thinkers with groundbreaking solutions to decarbonise the fashion industry and ensure a just and sustainable transition for both people and the planet.

This special anniversary exhibition spotlights 20 remarkable alumni, spanning next-gen materials and clean‑chemistry dyes, to pioneering circular solutions for product design, care, and recycling.

Through artefacts, prototypes, and finished garments, you’ll trace each Changemaker’s journey from spark of inspiration to real-world impact — revealing how they continue to disrupt, scale, and transform the industry from the ground up.

Step into the world of early-stage innovation, see how big change begins with a single idea, and imagine what’s possible when we choose to back the bold.

Please Note

The exhibition will be open for private viewings only on 17 September.

It will open to the public from 18 September onward.

List of Exhibiting GCA Alumni

DyeRecycle: DyeRecycle is a UK-based fibre and colour innovation company pioneering patented green chemistry technologies that recover synthetic dyes and high-value fibres from textile waste to enable circularity in the textile industry

Phycolabs: Phycolabs develops threads and textile fibres made exclusively from farmed seaweed, as a regenerative alternative to traditional fibres that is microplastic-free, petrochemical-free, traceable, and scalable.

Ponda: Ponda has developed a fibre extraction technology that transforms Typha seed heads into BioPuff®, a next-generation bio-based insulation material, designed for warmth and breathability.

Galy: GALY is transitioning the world to cellular agriculture, based on the belief that anything made from plant cells can be done faster, more efficiently, and with far fewer resources—in the lab.

Dimpora: Dimpora AG is a Swiss material science company behind a patented membrane technology platform, Corelayer Technology, enabling the creation of high-performance, sustainable, and circular membranes.

Petit Pli: Petit Pli is a London-based wearable technology company that, since 2017, has been inventing and applying groundbreaking material technologies, most notably its signature growing garments for children, to solve problems for individuals, businesses, and the planet across the textiles value chain.
