About this event

  • Event lasts 1 day 8 hours

The past two years have witnessed unprecedented extremes in the Antarctic linked to climate change, including exceptionally low winter sea ice and accelerated melting of ice. This meeting will bring together scientists and stakeholders for an urgent discussion on what we know about these recent events, whether they represent a climatic tipping point, and what the global impacts of crossing such a threshold will be.
