As business leaders we are not powerless

About this event

Businesses, their workforce and their families have been hit badly by the pandemic. Not least in the areas of emotional well-being and financial security. The mental health of the Nation is in crisis. The same is true across all economies with the poor arguably being hit the hardest.

In this webinar we will explore the issues of mental health and poverty in developed societies like ours, and those of societies in some of the poorest people of the world.

We will identify the key issues that affect the labour supply (employment) and consider what can be done to negate the effects of the current crisis in mental health on our workforce.

At 11.00 when we end the session, there will be the opportunity for networking in breakout rooms in slots of 3 x 10 min each. Depending on numbers booked, we aim to have at least 3 people per breakout room.

This is a free networking webinar and we look forward to welcoming you.

Organiser People against Poverty

Organiser of Global Mental Health, A Crisis In The Labour Market

We are an organisation based in Wiltshire whose work is international and whose efforts are to help lift people out of poverty by empowering individuals and children to be educated through our social, educational and training programmes, equipping them to become self-sufficient and passing on those teachings within their own communities.  A handshake, not a handout!
