The Global Research Network will be hosting a panel discussion on the COVID-19, alongside launching the Think Tank pages.
About this event
To celebrate the launch of the Think Tank the Global Research Network will be hosting a LIVE PANEL DISCUSSION on the implications of COVID-19 and the opportunities it offers for radical social change. The discussion will begin at 10am BST/UTC+1, 20th April 2020 (streamed to our YouTube channel), and as a public service it will be free to watch - so please share with your friends! Questions will be taken afterwards from GRN members on our zoom panel. Our guests will include (among others): Dr. Stu Marvel (Assistant Professor at Emory University and former gender advisor to the Ministry of Women in The Gambia); Alexander Stingl (Chair of the Scientific Committee for 'Juridifying the Anthropocene', assisting the French High Court of Appeal); Dr. Caroline Godart (feminist philosopher and author), Dr. Raza Saeed (Assistant Professor at Warwick Law School) and Dr. Heather Morgan (social scientist at the University of Aberdeen's Institute of Applied Health Sciences).
