Global Science Show - STEM Ambassadors Scotland
Event Information
About this Event
As part of British Science Week, the Scottish STEM Ambassadors Network, in collaboration with the Global Science Show, invite you to be part of this engagement event reaching audiences around the Twittersphere.
All you have to do is sign up, create a short video, write a thread or share images of an innovative explanation or demonstration of STEM, and post this in your very own timeslot during the programme on the 12th of March.
Who can sign up?
This show is open to all STEM Ambassadors across Scotland. You can sign up as a STEM ambassador to take part in the show.
What's Involved?
When you sign up, we will assign a timeslot between 9am and 9pm BST on March 12th. Your timeslot will be 10 minutes long, but you don't have to provide ten minutes of content.
At your timeslot, you will post your content on Twitter, whether through a demonstration, an interactive game or some other create method of engagement. This post will then be collated into a thread by the @GlobalSciShow account to create a chain of research.
If you don't have a Twitter account, that's fine. We can post your content on your behalf from the Global Science Show account.
An information session will be held on 12th February to provide the opportunity to learn more about what is involved and to ask any questions you may have.
All participants will be invited on registration to a special one-off training session with Global Science Show founder Sam Langford to help you develop your ideas and get to grips with how easy it can be to create something innovative and exciting to film at home.
