Expert Roundtables

Folowing the roundtables in the UK Parliament held in January and against the backdrop of the Biennale Architectura, the roundtables is designed with a cross-disciplinary approach. Venice provides inspiration to design thinking in new contexts examining first principles to societal challenges and how technology can advance society and elevate human potential.

Publication of a White Paper

Key outcomes will be summarised in a white paper outlining policy recommendations.

Day 3 - Visit to Architecture Biennale

Location: Giardini della Biennale

Curated by Carlo Ratti, this year's exhibition, titled "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective," explores the evolving relationship between architecture, artificial intelligence, and collective intelligence. The theme highlights how emerging technologies - AI, data science, robotics, and bioengineering are reshaping urban environments, sustainable design, and human longevity.

The Biennale will showcase groundbreaking projects that merge architecture with advanced computational models, smart materials, and biotechnologies, addressing pressing global challenges such as climate resilience and the future of living spaces.

Two directors from the South Korean conglomerate MBC Global Media will participate. Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), established in 1961, is South Korea's premier public broadcaster, renowned for its influential role in shaping the nation's media landscape. MBC has been instrumental in propelling the "Korean Wave" (Hallyu) globally, exporting high-quality content to over 50 countries. Stewart Bell, Founder of MicroProse

Stewart Bell is a pioneer of the global gaming industry, best known as the founder of MicroProse Europe,

home to groundbreaking titles such as Civilization, Gunship, and Railroad Tycoon, F1 Grand Prix , F15 Strike Eagle being a few. Since the early 1980s, he has brought over 400 games to millions of players worldwide, championing brands like Origin, Disney, and Sesame Street in the UK market. Stewart invented the world’s first PC sound card, acquired Telecomsoft from British Telecom. Stewart continues to publish new games while exploring the future of gaming through cryptocurrency and Web3 technologies.

Kim Renard Nazel, known as OG Arabian Prince, is a

founding member of N.W.A., a pioneer of West Coast electro and hip-hop, and a tech entrepreneur who later launched a 3D animation studio and co-founded MDDAO, bridging the worlds of music, technology, and innovation.

Deborah Bell, Co-Founder, Gorilla Gazing

Deborah Bell brings over three decades of experience at the forefront of the video games industry, having contributed to landmark projects with Sony, Atari, Koei Tecmo, and Oxford University Press across PC, console, and mobile platforms. Now immersed in the Web3 and blockchain space, she is pioneering new models of impact-driven gaming. Her latest project, Gorilla Gazing, is the first in a “Play to Give” and “Play to Own” series, supporting wildlife conservation efforts through innovative game mechanics.
