Overview
Global Surgical Frontiers 2025
Achieving global surgical coverage: What progress have we made?
About the event
Join us for Global Surgical Frontiers (GSF) 2025 on Friday 10 October in London and online. The Royal College of Surgeons of England has awarded up to 5.5 CPD points for this conference.
This one-day conference marks a significant milestone in the equity of access to surgery worldwide. We’ll reflect on the decade since the adoption of the World’s Health Organization (WHO) Resolution WHA68.15, and the publication of the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery (LCoGS) report; defining moments that have laid the foundation for improving the access to safe surgical and anaesthesia care worldwide.
With only five years left to achieve the Global Surgery 2030 Targets, GSF 2025 offers a critical opportunity to evaluate progress, share learning and shape the path ahead. We’ll explore the evolving role of integrated surgical, emergency and critical care in strengthening health systems, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
