Come on home, Glória!
For three decades, you've been a part of a choir that's been "Singing in the Changes." Now, as we mark our 30th anniversary, we want to celebrate that legacy with the people who helped build it: our former members.
Whether you remember our first, slightly nervous performance in Mother Redcap's, or singing with the Garda Male Voice Choir at the National Concert Hall in 2002—one of the first LGBT+ choirs to ever perform with their national police force—you were a part of something special.
You were there when we won the "Find José a Choir" competition in 2005, giving us the incredible chance to sing with José Carreras at the Point Theatre. You were there when we hosted the Various Voices festival in Dublin, showing the world what a warm, welcoming city we are. You were there when we sang at the Bord Gais Energy Theathre with the New York Gay Mens Chorus for Marriage Equality.
This milestone isn't just about us; it's about the decades of pride, resilience, and harmony that you helped create. It's a chance to reconnect, share a laugh, and remember that, no matter where life has taken us, "We were There."
Join us for a celebration of music, memories, and the community we built together. This afternoon and (hopefullly night) is for you. Please do pass on to any former members you are still in contact with.
