Glorious Stitch is back with three Autumn beginners embroidery workshops, which can be taken individually or booked as a set.
We are delighted to offer these new workshops from our resident textiles artist Ann Davies, well-known for her beautiful contemporary stitch workshops and unique stitch dolls.
The three workshops on Friday 10 October, Friday 31 October and Sunday 23 November can be booked individually or as a set (all are listed on our Eventbrite page).As usual there are no end products, each session is based on stitch and embroidery techniques.Aimed at absolute beginners and those who love to play and have fun with textiles.Ann’s approach is always creative and encourages having a go rather than perfect results.
Ann says: “We will cover two techniques each workshop from some of the following: hand stitch, fabric manipulation, ideas books, gathering and dyeing, mono print on fabric, fusing scraps, design skills and machine embroider y and more. Each workshop can stand alone or can be part of a short learning course.”
Skill Level: Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced stitchers.
Cost: £50 per person (includes all materials and equipment use).
