About the Artists:

Gabrielle Anderson BA.

Gabrielle studied Visual Arts at Salford University. She mainly utilises pen and ink to create intricate drawings which she then finishes with light washes of watercolour. She is heavily inspired by traditional illustrations – particularly anatomical drawings and botanical studies and includes elements of these in her surreal nature drawings. Gabrielle works out of the New Art Spaces Leigh Studio where she has been the lead artist for over five years.

Beth Burke DAS.

Beth was born and raised in Wigan and attended Wigan Technical College, going on to study Fine Art at Stoke on Trent Art College. She also qualified as a Dressmaker and Designer. Over the years Beth has exhibited extensively, being a full member of the Denbighshire Art Society in North Wales, where she now lives with her husband Geoff. She has exhibited at the Royal Cambrian Arts, DAS and has sold many of her paintings. Her expressive paintings display a love of the landscapes, seascapes in North Wales.

Ed Burke

I love outdoor photography. Initially I wanted to take photographs of my various adventures in the mountains, desert, Arctic and other remote places before, during and after my time in the Royal Marines. I studied the technical aspects finding my studies of physics and maths could also be applied. However shooting technically good photographs still lacked something so finally I find myself learning about composition and the history of art and studying some of the past masters of both photography and painting.Much to learn on the journey and looking forward to where it might take me!
