About this event
Day One of Gloucestershire’s inaugural Tech Week sets the stage for an ambitious week of innovation, collaboration, and global dialogue. With an All Access Pass, delegates unlock the full experience: from high-level keynotes to interactive panels, cross-sector collaboration, and exclusive networking.
What’s Included
Morning Inspiration (9:30–10:30am)
Kick off with the Opening Keynote, where regional leaders showcase Gloucestershire’s bold vision as the UK’s cyber capital — and beyond. Explore how investments in Golden Valley, Berkeley, The Forum, and City Campus are shaping a digitally secure, globally connected future.
Celebrating Local Innovation (12:00–2:00pm)
Powered by Gloucestershire (Hub8 MX): A dynamic panel of founders and leaders exploring how place-based innovation has driven the county’s cyber and tech success stories, with insights on culture, collaboration, and future opportunities.
Global Perspectives on Secure Futures (2:30–4:30pm)
In partnership with Golden Valley and Intralink, the UK–APAC Dialogue on Emerging Tech brings together six global voices to debate AI, quantum, semiconductors, biotech, and space. With a debate-style format and live audience input, this is where the future of secure technology takes shape.
Exclusive Connections (4:15–5:40pm)
VIP Networking offers a private space for leaders and invited guests to connect over drinks and canapés before the evening headline session.
Headline Evening Event (6:00–7:00pm) (supporting The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival)
At Cheltenham Town Hall, join Nick Clegg in conversation with Verity Harding for How to Save the Internet. This thought-provoking discussion unpacks the reforms and international cooperation needed to preserve the openness of the internet.
