About this event
After the success of our workshops earlier this year, the biggest takeway from the feedback was that there was an overwhelming desire to talk / share more with other Mums. So it was only natural that our next events would allow for more time and space to do just that. Our Glow Connect circles will be a space to share our hopes and fears and everything in between. No pressure to be perfect or to problem solve, just to be open to hearing about and sharing our journeys in a supportive non-judgemental space. Our circles are for mothers of any stage, age, family type or gender - everyone is welcome here.
We will be hosting 6 circles between September 2025 and March 2026. The dates and themes for all the circles can be found below. Each circle will run from 6 - 8 pm including arrival and registration time, a networking break and plenty of time to share our stories in between. To keep things cosy and intimate, group size is limiited to 10 so grab your spot today! As with all our events, there will be 2 free spaces available for those who need it, as well as discounts for block bookings of 3 or 6 circles.
We will be gathering at Fold Yoga Studio on Green Lanes, the studio is well connected by public transport and a short walk from both Church Street and Newington Green. Click the hyperlink above for more information about the space. Please see below for dates and themes of our events.
September 28th Identity : we will explore how our identity changes once we become a mum, the sense of grief that can come with that, and how to bridge the gap between our pre and ever evolving postpartum selves. Tickets purchased after Friday 26th at 6pm may only be valid for a future event.
October 19th Courage : we will explore how we connect to the theme of courage in our mothering journey, what we believe we can do and be, and the small steps we can take to be braver still. Tickets purchased after Friday 17th at 6pm may only be valid for a future event.
November 23rd Boundaries : we will explore how this theme resonates for us, discuss the individual and structural barriers to maintaining boundaries, and how boundaries could help us feel more empowered in our mothering journey. Tickets purchased after Friday 21st at 6pm may only be valid for a future event.
January 25th Relationships : we will explore our mothering journey through the lens of our relationships with others, consider how key relationships have developed, and reflect on the positive power networks can have to help us navigate the changing seasons of motherhood. Tickets purchased after Friday 23rd at 6pm may only be valid for a future event.
Feburary 22nd : Open Circle : we will hold space for whatever comes up on the day and in doing so acknowledge that feelings in motherhood can be intense but transient and by sharing more openly, we are on the path to normalising all aspects of our individual and collective journeys. Tickets purchased after Friday 19th at 6pm may only be valid for a future event.
March 22nd Joy : we will explore what it means to find and connect to joy in motherhood, share how we can individually and collectively connect to this joy and use it as a playful and positive coping strategy when things are feeling hard, boring or overwhelming.
Who are Glow Collective?
Tania and Anna are two Stoke Newington Mums who met on the first day their kids started school. After many coffees, chat and walks around the neighbourhood it was clear they shared more in common than children in the same class. As well as being Mums they bring professional expertise to this space, Tania as a postnatal doula (Abeula Doulas) and Maternity Mate for Sister Circle and Anna as a Matrescence coach (Mama Rising) and long -term PANDAS Foundation volunteer. Together they founded Glow Collective out of a passion for normalising open conversations about Motherhood in a safe, non-judgemental and non-medicalised setting.
