Join us for our ‘glow ride’, one of many Glow Rides nationwide being organised by local cycling groups and campaigners to highlight the urgent need for safer and more inclusive cycling infrastructure for women as part of Cycling UK's My ride Our right campaign.
Meet outside the Council Offices. We will ride down the new Marlborough Road cycle lane and on to Verulamium Park and the western/northern half of the Green Ring through Ladies Grove and across Bernards Heath, returning to Civic Close
You MUST have a roadworthy cycle and front and rear lights. We recommend warm clothing as we will be riding slowly on an autumn evening. We welcome additional lighting and brightly decorated persons and cycles, not to mention bells and whistles - just make sure nothing can catch in the spokes.
