Following on from the 2nd GMCC International Trade Forum in September 2016, we have announced the next edition to take place on 16th February 2016. Our third meeting will be sponsored by GM Chamber Member MoneyCorp and explore the theme of ‘Capitalising on the Weak Sterling to Boost Your Exports’.
The pound has decreased significantly against the dollar since the UK voted to leave the European Union. While this is making our exports more attractive and we become more competitive overseas, our imports are becoming significantly more expensive. With uncertainty being the most certain thing at this moment in time, Greater Manchester’s exporters need to protect themselves and understand how to capitalise on this weak sterling in order to drive business growth.

- Service providers who offer valuable advice and support to exporters and importers are welcome to attend, however, places for services providers are limited as priority will be given to exporting and importing companies.

As we want to create a unique platform for exporters and importers to discuss, share best practice and access high level expertise from the Chamber and our partners, we expect demand for attendance to be high and therefore registrations will be verified in order to ensure a non-sales environment. Your place will be confirmed via email by one of the International Trade Team.
Due to high demand, if you are unable to make the International Trade Forum, please cancel at least 2 working days before the event. Your cancellation must in writing and sent to email@example.com. Failure to cancel via email will result in an administrative fee being invoiced as follows:

Non-Members: No refund of the attendance fee
