Enterprise Nation's first trade mission of 2017 will be to Paris. France is the second largest market for food and drink exports from the UK with exports reaching £6.6bn in the first half of 2016 up 8.7% on the first half of 2015. Philippe Demarest, founder and director of Sutralis, who will meet with delegates on the mission, predicts this growth trend will continue into 2017.

The two day, one-night mission from 27-28 March is open to just 25 food and drink brands. The programme includes visits to Sodexo, M.A.D.E. Paris food and drink show, hear from experts KPMG, SDL Managed Translation and HSBC. Plus get a guided tour with a market expert around Paris’ supermarkets, organic stores, premium food establishments and much more.

  • understand the food and drink market landscape in France

  • meet buyers and distributors

What previous mission attendees have said about the Go Global missions:

Charlie Thuillier, Oppo Ice Cream, Go Global Dublin 2016

“EXPERTLY organised, fantastic content, and introductions to some incredible people. Not to mention the other missionaries!”

Tim Gentles, Drillboard, Go Global Shanghai 2015

"For me, this was probably the most influential trip of my life so far. I've come out of it with a deep sense of why I have my business, where I want to take it and what I want to achieve with it. Fellow mission goers, you’re a loveable, inspirational, empowering bunch! Very much looking forward to the reunion."

Claire Burrows, Air & Grace, Go Global Berlin 2016

"This trip has been life-changing! I wasn't aware of the labelled logistics from UPS and the PayPal solutions are the answer to my international payment issues. Thanks to all partners involved in the mission!"

Jan van der Velde, Kit for Kids, Go Global Shanghai 2015

"There were a number of excellent speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds. This was tremendously useful, putting my mind at rest on some matters, and confirming that we are on the right track on others. However it wasn’t just the formal speakers. I learnt a great deal from my fellow missionaries. As a result my commitment to enter the Chinese market has become all the stronger and we are therefore accelerating our plans."
