We'll be heading to Singapore in September 2017 with a focus on digital and tech businesses. The mission is designed specifically for businesses with a creative digital or tech solution with a strong focus on innovation and disruption.
Singapore, ranked by the World Bank as the easiest place in the world to start, run and do business, is the UK's largest trading partner in South East Asia, with two thirds of British exports to the region heading into Singapore. The World Economic Forum recognised the country as benefiting the most from the investments it has made into technological innovations.
It is the perfect location for ambitious British brands with many benefits including a common language, strong historical ties and similar business and legal practices. It is also recognised as having Asia's strongest intellectual property protection, with a highly skilled and educated local population.
The three day mission from 20-24 September is open to just 25 brands who will gain:
- an understanding of the creative technology landscape in Singapore
- the ins and outs of tax, legal, trade and finance process and systems
- opportunitiy to make sales, connections and collaborations with local agencies, government representatives, accelerators and your fellow mission goers
- meetings with entrepreneurs who will share their learnings and successes

What previous mission attendees have said about the Go Global missions:
Tim Gentles, Drillboard, Go Global Shanghai 2015
"For me, this was probably the most influential trip of my life so far. I've come out of it with a deep sense of why I have my business, where I want to take it and what I want to achieve with it. Fellow mission goers, you’re a loveable, inspirational, empowering bunch! Very much looking forward to the reunion."
Claire Burrows, Air & Grace, Go Global Berlin 2016
"This trip has been life-changing! I wasn't aware of the labelled logistics from UPS and the PayPal solutions are the answer to my international payment issues. Thanks to all partners involved in the mission!"
Jan van der Velde, Kit for Kids, Go Global Shanghai 2015
"There were a number of excellent speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds. This was tremendously useful, putting my mind at rest on some matters, and confirming that we are on the right track on others. However it wasn’t just the formal speakers. I learnt a great deal from my fellow missionaries. As a result my commitment to enter the Chinese market has become all the stronger and we are therefore accelerating our plans."
Charlie Thuillier, Oppo Ice Cream, Go Global Dublin 2016
“EXPERTLY organised, fantastic content, and introductions to some incredible people. Not to mention the other missionaries!”
