Description

Climate change is receiving more news coverage than at almost any other time, sparking a public outcry for action.

Is your business or charity ready to be asked ‘What are you doing to Go Green?’

This FREE ‘Go Green and Grow Your Dorset Business’ workshop takes a closer look at how your business or charity can reduce its carbon footprint, save money on energy bills, and capitalise on marketing your green credentials.

Climate change is an important topic to many, and more and more consumers are now asking for green assurances from the businesses they deal with. This ERDF funded workshop will help you prepare for the question ‘what are you doing to tackle climate change’, and explores all of the benefits ‘going Green’ has to offer.

In this session Low Carbon Dorset’s renewable energy officer Derek Moss and an ethical branding specialist will take us through:

  • Climate Change and what it means for Dorset businesses and charities

  • How your business can reduce its carbon footprint and save money

  • One-on-one time to look at your business and the specific actions you can take

  • Leading by example… a closer look at what other businesses in Dorset are doing

  • Go Green with your brand and marketing with ethical branding specialist Graham Foster

  • Green grants and free technical advice..and how to apply

Lets make Dorset greener and capitalise on the branding and marketing benefits of #GoGreenDorset.

Low Carbon Dorset is a three year programme of activities to help stimulate growth in Dorset’s low carbon economy.

We offer FREE technical support and grant funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Low Carbon Dorset helps businesses, community, and public sector organisations in Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.

The programme is run by Dorset County Council (DCC) and the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It aims to help improve your energy efficiency, increase the use of renewable energy, and aid the development of new low carbon products.

This event is in conjunction with Outset StartUp and GetSet East Dorset, delivering ERDF funded business support across Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch with The Dorset Business Growth Partnership.
