Have fun and develop your riding skills with coaches next to the new Mountain Bike trails in Beckenham Place Park.

These 45-minute Go-ride sessions are designed for riders under 8 years old who wish to learn the skills to ride the MTB trails safely:

You will be learning how to do the following skills:

Braking
Cornering
Standing on pedals
The Neutral Position
Moving around the bike

Pre-booking is advised, as rider spaces are capped at 8. Please book a free ticket on the next page.

BRIEFING FOR GO-RIDE FLAT GRASS SESSIONS RIDERS

Riders must be able to ride independently and without stabilisers. Riders must be able to come to a stop safely using their brakes.

Coaches will conduct a reach test for riders, ensuring their bike fits correctly and that they are not in danger and unable to control their bike. If we feel they will not have full control of the bike, we have the right to refuse entry to the session.

Riders must use their own bike, which will be inspected by the coaches. We will not be providing any maintenance or mechanical services. If the bike is deemed unsafe, we cannot allow the rider to participate. Parents/guardians should ensure the bike is safe to ride and in working condition PRIOR to the event to avoid disappointment.
