Godalming Beer Festival - June 2024

Godalming Beer Festival returns to the Burys Field in 2024.

We had a great time this year, but for 2024 we'd like a bit more sun, so we'll be returning to a field near you in June, along with even more beer, cider, gin, rum and music.

Brought to you by the people behind The Star public house and Staycation Live Festival, you're guaranteed a brilliant drinks selection, excellent music and the most fun you've had with a half-pint glass in your hand.

Whether you want to sample something from Andy's extensive beer lists, Emma's excellent gin and rum selections, or check out the great range of bands and DJs that Sam has curated, there's something for everyone. We'll have an even wider selection of great food and plenty to keep the kids entertained.

This year we'll be kicking things off on Friday afternoon with the session running through the evening, with sessions on Saturday afternoon and evening too.

Which ticket will you be picking up?

This year we're beginning proceedings with the opening show on Friday evening, but starting a little earlier at 3pm. Then we'll have two sessions on the Saturday. You can still bag an all day ticket for the Saturday, and even a ticket for the whole weekend. Which one are you going for?

The Opening Number

Friday Afternoon/Evening – 3pm - 11pm

There'll be all the beer to try, and we'll have some amazing bands & DJs on stage. There'll be our usual great food selection, and we'll be getting the party started like only Godalming knows how! (Adults Only)

The Family Favourite

Saturday Afternoon– 11am - 5pm

The sun will be shining, the beer will be cold, we'll have some chilled out music to relax and enjoy the festival to, and whether you want real ale, craft beer, traditional cider or something from our extensive gin bar, our Saturday session is for you.

The Saturday Sing-along

Saturday Evening – 5pm - 11pm

Come and party like only Godalming knows how. Bringing the vibe of the town's other favourite festival, Staycation Live, we'll have live music, games and, you guessed it, the best selection of beer, cider and gin the town has ever seen. (Adults Only)

The Extended Mix

All-day Saturday - 11am - 11pm

Terrible at making decisions? Then why not enjoy both sessions with our all-day ticket? Avoid kicking out time in between sessions with a special wristband that'll give you access to the festival for the whole day. (Adults Only in the evening)

The Long Player

Friday Evening, plus All-day Saturday

If you really don't want to miss a thing, then why not come and sample every session? Or at least drop in and out as you fancy? Our weekend ticket will give you access to the festival across all sessions with fast-track access. (Adults Only except Saturday Afternoon)

Surrey's Best Street Food

We'll have a great selection of street food available over the weekend, with something for everyone. Whether you fancy Thai, or Braai, or you're after some plant-based goodness, we'll have something for you.

More than just beer

Don't forget, as well as approximately 50 cask ales, we'll have something for everyone over the weekend.

Craft Beer Bar

We'll have an amazing selection of some of the UK's best craft beers, as well as some from further afield.

Gin & Rum Bar

The Star has one of the best Gin & Rum selections around, and we'll be bringing a good part of it to the Burys field.

Our bigger and better cider bar

We know cider as well as we know beer (possibly more!), and we'll be showing some of it off at the festival. Come and visit our cider bar and try a glass or two.

Fun and Games

Want something to do while you enjoy a beer with friends? We'll have all sorts of fun and games to keep you and the kids entertained over the weekend.

Kids Go Free on Saturday afternoon

Kids are welcome to attend the Saturday afternoon session, and they can come in for free. Just make sure you also add one of the free kid's tickets per child. Kids tickets are for Under 16s only.

We'll have plenty to keep them entertained, and a range of kid-friendly soft drinks for them too.

All other sessions are adults only, so please don't arrive with your kids or you'll be refused entry.
