Gods amongst Men 2 - Militia and Solar Only Horus Heresy event

Ready to jump back in to Human only Heresy? Let's do it again! Cerri Love and Danger Close present... Gods Amongst Men 2.

What? – A 3 game Heresy event focusing on the un-sung heroes of the great Crusade, the myriad armies of humanity – the Solar Auxilia, the Imperial Army and the Imperialis Militia.

Where? – Dodington Parish Council Hall, Finch Road, Chipping Sodbury, BS37 6JZ

Army Composition (Note there are some changes in Army Composition rules following Feedback from the first event)

- First and foremost, this is a narrative event and lists should be suitably levelled for this. I’m Not sure if it is possible to be OP with Solar or Militia, but now is not the time to try.

- Armies must be fully painted. I appreciate armies of mortals can be a lot of models, they don’t need to be Golden Deamon level, but must be at least 3 colours

- 2,250 army point list drawn from either the Solar Auxilia list within Liber Imperium or the Imperialis Militia PDF

- You may ally a Solar force to a Militia army and vice versa, however allied detachments or Lord of War selections from Adeptus Astartes, Custodes or bound Deamons are not Permitted. Assassins of any kind are also not permitted.

- Allied detachments of Sisters of Silence (Limit of 750 points) and Mechanicum (Limit of 500 Points) are permitted. If taking Mechanicum allies Myrmidons are a 0-1 option.

- No unit that is T7 or above may be included.

- Any units from the Solar Auxilia Legacy document may be used as appropriate as well as any apropriate Exemplary Battles. The Legion Marauder Bomber and Legion Marauder Destroyer from the Legions Legacy list may be selected as Lord of War (as the only exception To the no Marine units) but are BS3 and are 25 points cheaper than the listed points value.

- Knights (including Corrupted Engines like the Brass Scorpion or Kytan) are not permitted

- Summoned Deamon units (via a Militia Rogue Psyker) are a 0-1 option (e.g. you are allowed 1 unit of Brutes or 1 unit of Lesser Deamons etc)

- Latest FAQ will be in use.

- If there is a 3.0 edition of Heresy before this event occurs the rulespack may be subject to change, but this will be communicated with as much notice as possible. If a new edition launches and we don’t get rules for Militia or Solar in time we will play it as a Legacy 2.0 event.

What to Bring?

Models (usually helps) - Dice, rulebooks, templates etc. - Movement trays are optional but recommended – if you have them, they speed up moving that many infantry models around - An attitude towards fun, fluff and flavour over the need for total victory.
