Our open meetings are designed to bring together business owners and entrepreneurs in a relaxed setting for an evening of networking and learning.
Our meetings start with a 10 minute update on Guild business, followed by a skills session led by one of our members or key members of the business community. This is then followed by an optional, but hightly reccomended, trip to the Black Swan pub next door!
For this session, we are proud to have Ian Walker and Co Charterd Accountants joining us to talk about getting to grips with accountancy for small businesses. This is a subject which has been repeatedly asked about by members, so we decided to get some expert help in!
The main focus of the session will be to give you an overview of what is required when it comes to keeping records, other legistaltive responsibilities and pratical tips on how to keep on top of numbers and deadlines.
You should walk away feeling confident in being able to tackle what can often be the least liked part of running a business!
