Mae'r sesiwn hon ar gyfer gweithwyr yn Ffilm a Theledu, Theatr a Digwyddiadau Byw sy'n dymuno deall y dulliau ymarferol a moesegol y gallant eu cymryd i ddiogelu eu criw a'u cyfranwyr. Gall y sesiwn hon apelio'n arbennig at weithwyr sy'n dod i gysylltiad â chriw neu gyfranwyr sy'n agored i niwed am eu bod yn gweithio gyda chynnwys sensitif neu themâu trawmatig (h.y. iechyd meddwl, profedigaeth trawma ac ati)

Yn y sesiwn hon byddwn yn ymdrin ag offer a gwybodaeth ymarferol mewn perthynas â phynciau fel dyletswydd gofal, cyfrinachedd, fframweithiau diogelu a chyfeirio ymholiadau. Yn ogystal, bydd pwyslais ar y sgiliau sydd eu hangen i lywio sgyrsiau diogelu a chynnal ffiniau iach.

Looking after your Crew and Contributors

For Who?

This session is for workers in Film, TV, Theatre and Events who wish to understand the practical and ethical approaches they can take to safeguard their crew and contributors. This session may appeal particularly to workers who come into contact with vulnerable crew or contributors because they work with sensitive content or traumatic themes (i.e., mental health, trauma bereavement etc)

Aims

In this session we will cover practical tools and knowledge in relation to topics like duty of care, confidentiality, safeguarding frameworks and signposting. Additionally there will be an emphasis on the skills required to navigate safeguarding conversations and maintain healthy boundaries.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this workshop participants should come away feeling reassured about the structured ways in which they can approach, navigate and best signpost vulnerable crew and contributors.

• Knowledge of a safeguarding framework

• Clear ways to apply the framework

• Signposting skills

• Foundations of duty of care and confidentiality

• Tools to navigate safeguarding conversations

Tiwtor - Michelle White

Mae Michelle yn seicolegydd cymhwysol sy'n arbenigo mewn seicoleg gadarnhaol a seicoleg hyfforddi (MSc MAPPCP). Mae hi'n angerddol am ddatblygu dulliau ystyrlon a gwydn sy'n angori newid a thwf cadarnhaol a chynaliadwy. Yn sail i'w gwaith mae diddordeb mewn datblygu hyblygrwydd seicolegol. Mewn byd mwyfwy heriol a chymhleth mae'r gallu i symud, dysgu a thyfu drwy ein hemosiynau - sy'n aml yn rhai dyrys - yn sgil hollbwysig.

Mae ei chleientiaid presennol yn cynnwys Google, BAFTA, BFI, Teach First, Neo Leaders, Schneider Electric, ac Ysgol Fusnes Insead, ac mae hi'n eistedd ar weithgor BAFTA/BFI sy'n argymell egwyddorion gwrth-fwlio o fewn y diwydiannau sgrin.

Mae Michelle yn gyd sylfaenydd 6 Ft From the Spotlight. Ar hyn o bryd mae 6 FT From yn gweithio gyda CULT Cymru a chyrff y diwydiant sgrin ar gynllun peilot "Hwylusydd Lles Cymru" sy'n cynnwys gosod Hwyluswyr Lles ar gynyrchiadau yng Nghymru. Ein nod yw galluogi newid diwylliannol o fewn y sector creadigol a'n bwriad yw datblygu rhywbeth tebyg yn y celfyddydau a digwyddiadau cyn bo hir.

Tutor - Michelle White

Michelle is an applied psychologist, specialising in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MSc MAPPCP). She is passionate about the development of the meaningful and resilient approaches which anchor positive and sustainable change and growth. Underpinning her work is an interest in the development of psychological flexibility. In an increasingly demanding and complex world the ability to move, learn and grow through our often-tumultuous emotions is a crucial skill.

Current clients include Google, BAFTA, BFI, Teach First, Neo Leaders, Schneider Electric, and Insead Business School and she sits on the BAFTA/BFI working group advocating anti-bullying principles within the screen industries.

Michelle is also a Co-Founder of 6FT From the Spotlight. 6 FT from the Spotlight is currently working with CULT Cymru and screen industry bodies on a “Wellbeing Facilitator Cymru” pilot that involves placing Well Being Facilitators on productions in Wales. Our aim is to enable cultural change within the creative sector and our intention is to develop something similar in the arts and events shortly.

CULT CYMRU

Mae gweithdai CULT Cymru yn cael eu darparu mewn amgylchedd cyfeillgar ac anfygythiol ble bydd cyfranogwyr yn cael cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau a chodi materion yn ystod y dydd.

CULT Cymru workshops are delivered in a friendly and non-threatening environment where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and raise issues during the day.

Prospect's BECTU Sector Training in Wales is partly funded by the Welsh Government’s Wales Union Learning Fund via the joint-union CULT Cymru project. By registering for this training course or event, you are accepting that your personal data will be shared with the funder as part of BECTU’s requirements to receive the funding. The data is used only to show outcomes and outputs and is securely maintained for a period of 10 years, as stated in contracts for the funding. 

In addition, Prospect/BECTU uses this data to send you information about future BECTU/CULT Cymru events and training courses, update you on news, resources and publications and contact you for any future research we may conduct into the industry. Cancellation and Refunds Policy

A full refund will be issued to delegates who cancel at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Delegates who cancel within the 2 week period will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find someone else to take their place. Please let us know as soon as possible if you find you're no longer able to attend the workshop.
