Event description

Description

Lancashire is an economic powerhouse and is proving a fertile breeding ground for entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses.

From state-of-the-art tech businesses to traditional manufacturers, the Red Rose county is home to all sectors and sizes, from the smallest start-up to the largest multi-national company.

For a fast-growing business one of the most important decisions will be when to take investment and what type is right for them.

BusinessCloud has joined forces with UCLan Ventures and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Lancashire and South Lakeland for our Going for Growth breakfast event at the idyllic Brockholes, near Preston.

Supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), UCLan’s Investment Readiness Team are specialists in helping fast-growing businesses acquire equity finance and they’ll be joined by experts in angel investment; crowdfunding and even bank finance.

Several of Lancashire’s most successful businesses will be sharing their own stories of obtaining investment.
