Event description

Description

Technology has to a smaller and larger extent disrupted most traditional markets. Online art sales have increased significantly in recent years, but what are the implications on the traditional art market? Anders Petterson, the author of the annual Hiscox Online Art Trade Report, discusses the recent findings and the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Anders Petterson worked for JP Morgan Investment bank from 1995-1999 in London, New York, and Frankfurt, where he was responsible for capital market products and coverage in the Nordic region. In 2000 he founded ArtTactic, an art market research and education company. He runs courses and seminars on the art market and collecting art for both financial institutions and individuals. Petterson is also a consultant for Arts & Business in London, and acts as an advisor to companies on art business related issues.
