Gold Leaf / Washi Paper Creative Workshop. Part of the ROUTIN3S Exhibition

Part of the ROUTIN3S Exhibition, we are really excited to host this workshop with Italian artist Sergio Carando. Sergio is travelling down specially for this event, so it is a really rare opportunity for you to take part in what will be a unique and wonderful process to learn.

🎨 Art Workshop with Sergio Carando“Shapes, Gold & Color”Firepit Art Gallery, LondonA creative three-phase experience open to all skill levels—explore the magic of washi paper, gold leaf, gouache, and soft pastels.✨ What We’ll Do:🌀 Phase 1 – Free charcoal drawing on washi paper and application of gold/silver leaf🎨 Phase 2 – Painting with gouache or tempera🌈 Phase 3 – Finishing touches with soft pastels and spray fixative📌 All Materials Provided: washi paper, paints, gold/silver leaf, brushes, glue, paper support, fixative spray👤 Led by: Sergio Carando – Italian visual artist known for his iconic figures and expressive use of precious materials🖼️ Example of Final Artwork:

Photography and Filming take place during workshops and gallery opening times. Please let us know if you do not want to be on film. All material captured is used for either our social media or future promotion.

Firepit is a unique space, we have a gallery of beautiful and relevant art, artist studio spaces and a community event space. We will hold the workshop on a large communal table, next to the windows. You are in the heart of the gallery here and are surrounded by inspirational art.
