Join us for a deeply restorative Gong Bath to honour the balance of the Equinox.

Twice a year, the Equinox marks a sacred moment of balance — when day and night are equal in length, and the earth finds harmony between light and dark. It is a powerful time for reflection, release, and setting intentions for the season ahead.

Following a brief breathing exercise, we'll transition into a tranquil sound bath, featuring the resonant tones of the gong, singing bowls, delicate chimes, and other soothing instruments. Allow the vibrations to envelop you, nurturing your mind, body, and spirit on this journey of renewal and rejuvenation.

A gong bath is a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. You will lie down (or sit in a chair if lying down is uncomfortable for you) while we bathe you in sounds that facilitate deep healing.

How does it work: The frequency of the gong causes the cells of the body to vibrate sympathetically, helping to calm the mind, reduce stress and anxiety, lower the heart rate and blood pressure, improve sleep, increase mental and emotional clarity, release emotional blockages and boosts the immune system by stimulating the body's innate self healing mechanism.

When: Sunday 21st September, 19:15 - 20:15. Doors open at 19:00. Please arrive promptly. To minimise disruption to other attendees relaxation, no admittance after 19:15pm.

What to bring: Your own yoga mat if you have one. Dress in comfortable clothes with warm socks (body temperature tends to drop during a sound journey). Water to drink.

Guidelines: Eat lightly within 2 hours of coming to our sound journey. If possible refrain from eating heavy, rich or oily food, sugar and alcohol on the day of the session. Come hydrated, and drink plenty of water after the session. Plan to have a quiet restful evening after your session.

Not suitable for you if: You have a pacemaker or other metal implants. You are in the first trimester of pregnancy. You have epilepsy or seizures. You have a serious mental health condition. If you wear hearing aids, please remove them so you can hear the gong vibrations directly. Please don’t come if you have a cold, cough or flu symptoms.

Where: an intimate space situated a five minutes’ walk from Camden tube station.

Directions: Clarence Hall, behind the Quinns pub on Hawley road, Camden, NW1 8RN

Cancellation: If you are unable to attend, please let us know as space is limited, and we may be able to gift your session to someone else. No refunds will be given for non-attendance, latecomers or late cancellation.
