This seasonal turning point is when day and night stand in perfect harmony before we tip into the darker months. Spiritually, the Equinox is less about “letting go” in a generic sense, and more about acknowledging the harvest of what we’ve grown this year — the lessons, achievements, and inner shifts — and choosing how to carry that forward with steadiness and gratitude. It’s a chance to pause, rebalance, and align our inner rhythm with the rhythm of the earth.
This extended session will weave together intention setting, restorative breathwork, grounding drumming to clear stagnant energy, and a powerful 60-minute gong bath. Gong baths are deeply restorative for the nervous system, helping to calm the mind, ease tension, and create space for clarity. For this Equinox, I’ll be working with different levels of intensity — not just the soothing tones but also more powerful waves of sound — to help shake loose what feels heavy and stagnant, making room for renewal in body, mind, and spirit as we step into the new season. As it’s an early evening meditation by candlelight, the lights will be dimmed on arrival and we’ll start promptly at 5.15pm with intention setting and breathwork, followed by shamanic drumming then easing into a 60-min Gong Bath. Please arrive 15 mins before at 5pm I am unable to let anyone in after the session starts.
Although the venue is supplying yoga mats, there is also a limited supply of eye masks, blankets and bolsters on a first come basis. To get the best from your experience, I recommend bringing your own small pillow and eye mask just in case they run out – you are also welcome to bring your own yoga mat and blanket too. The venue will be warm, however please remember to also bring socks, so that your feet are nice and cosy during the session.
You’ll find the venue in the area known as Gladstone Park in North West London, 4.7 miles north of Hyde Park Corner, bounded by Willesden Green to the west, Hampstead to the east, Brondesbury and Kilburn to the south and Staples Corner to the north.
There is some parking available with pay and display on the road but spaces are subject to availability – you can also use the JUST PARK app to help you find a space.
