GONG BATH RELAXATION & MEDITATION Relax and rejuvenate: be immersed in the sounds and vibrations of the gong.

About this event

Immerse yourself in the sounds of the gong and you will achieve a deeply relaxing, meditative state. Apart from its mesmerising sound, the gong has been shown to have therapeutic value: to detoxify, reduce blood pressure, relieve stress and stimulate the immune system.

There's nothing for you to do, just be, a gong bath is ideal for people who find it hard to switch off.

To prepare you for the Gong Bath, we will start with a short set of stretches and breathing exercises. After the gong bath we will do a grounding meditation - easy to follow, no experience needed.

Then stay for a cup of yogi tea and delicious cacao and date energy ball!

About the venue

This is a brand new, intimate space, dedicated to healing, meditation, learning and spiritual experiences, run by The Crystal Company London, Spiritual & Holistic Academy.

Plants, salt lamps, fairy lights and candles help create a warm, welcoming ambience. It is seconds from Oakwood tube station and there is free parking close by.

To get the most from your experience

  • Arrive 10 minutes before the start to find your place and settle in
  • Wear loose, warm, comfortable clothing
  • Bring a mat and blanket
  • Avoid food or alcohol for at least two hours before the start

Taking care of yourself

Although we have never come across any health issues, if you are in the first three months of pregnancy, it’s advisable not to do any type of yoga or gong meditation. If you wear hearing aids, it’s best to remove them so you experience the gong directly, not amplified in any way. While the sound is not particularly loud, if you have a sound sensitive condition such as epilepsy, or wear a pacemaker, then a gong bath might not be for you.
